Oxford University Press has a Production Editor position available in its Medicine EDP Department. The position will oversee the production of books and manage printing and binding of 1/C, 2/C, and 4/C titles and their components. Primary responsibilities are to coordinate activities of authors; EDP Design; OUP departments such as Editorial, Marketing, and Sales; vendors; freelancers; illustrators; etc. to produce products to OUP’s quality standards. We are looking for someone with a B.A. or B.S. along with a minimum 2-3 years publishing experience, preferably editing and producing books, and have demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once. Manufacturing experience is a plus. If you make good decisions on prioritization, ability to monitor schedules, and manage workflow this might be the perfect position for you!
