Join SSP

The Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) was formed in 1978 to promote and advance communication among all sectors of the scholarly publication community through networking, information dissemination, and facilitation of new developments in the field.

Members represent the many elements involved in the broad field of scholarly publishing -- publishers, printers, developers of e-products, librarians, editors, and others, who attend Annual Meetings, seminars, and roundtables sponsored by SSP for the purpose of learning and exchanging information.

Member benefits include reduced rates at these events, an electronic newsletter, publication discounts, online advertising discounts, and other valuable products and services.
