In case you didn’t know, Learned Publishing is published by the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers, in collaboration with the Society for Scholarly Publishing. Yes, folks, this is your journal, too!

As the new North American editor, I invite you to log in to the SSP Member Center and follow the buttons to access the full-text content of Learned Publishing. It’s quick and easy – the SSP Web site just punts you over, already authenticated, to the Ingenta site, and voila!

The July issue is just out. The TOC and abstracts can be viewed here. You can also sign up on this Ingenta page to receive regular Table of Contents alerts or RSS feeds when new issues are published. But remember, to view full-text articles, be sure to enter your SSP login details at the SSP Member Center.

Through the month of July, LP is running a survey. We want to find out what you find interesting, what you want more of, and what you want less of. Please take the time to fill out the survey.

Those who provide their e-mail address with their responses will be enrolled in the prize drawing for an Amazon book voucher worth $200 (£100 or €125).

SSP owes a huge thank-you to Priscilla Markwood for the fantastic job she did in this position over the last two years. Priscilla set a high bar, and I appreciate coming in behind her. Happily for me, she has agreed to continue on the editorial board.

Learned Publishing has three categories of contributions: case studies, points of view, and research articles. If you have an idea for a topic, I want to hear from you. And if I don’t hear from you, you may be hearing from me anyway!
