Annual Reviews announces launch of new journal: Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior

March 31, 2014Palo Alto, CA – Annual Reviews is proud to announce the launch of the Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior. The purpose of this new journal is to provide distinctive reviews across the range of topics in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, and Organizational Behavior, summarizing significant developments in the field.

This new journal results from growing coverage of these topics within the Annual Review of Psychology—one of the highest impact journals in psychology. The extensive level of interest in organizational psychology and organizational behavior clearly justifies a journal dedicated to this important area.

Editor Frederick P. Morgeson (Eli Broad Professor of Management in the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University) commented, “Although we are cognizant of the numerous outlets for review articles, none are published annually focusing exclusively on research conducted in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, and Organizational Behavior. We see this as a significant gap, particularly for such a diverse and vibrant domain. We believe that the Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior will occupy a unique place in the field and contribute to the codification and advancement of our science by providing in-depth and extensive coverage of the domain.”

In this interdisciplinary field, it is challenging to keep up to date with the plethora of relevant studies published every year. The Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior will capture what is known as well as identify current trends and key areas in need of future investigation. The journal appeals to a diverse audience, including researchers and practitioners working in psychology departments, business schools, and public and private sector organizations across the globe.

Complimentary online access to the first volume of the journal is available until March 2015 at orgpsych.annualreviews.org. Interested institutions that do not have a current online account and would like to see their usage of the complimentary access to the journal may contact the Sales Department (sales@annualreviews.org) to register for usage statistics.
