APS and Open Access: Advancing and Diffusing the Knowledge of Physics



Open Access Publishing has been around for more than 15 years, but it has only recently gained widespread traction with publishers, librarians and the authors with whom they work. Libraries, societies, and publishers are thinking about, or are already implementing, open access initiatives to meet the growing demands of their patrons and institutions.
