Serving an Online Audience with Responsive Design

While most publishers have successfully taken on the challenge of web-enabling their content, the call to effectively “mobile-enable” their assets is heating up. Whether it’s a mini iPad or a super-sized Samsung smartphone, it seems like every week another mobile device is brought to market. What strategies can publishers utilize to help ensure that access to their content remains constant across these multifarious devices?

One solution that is quickly becoming an industry best practice is responsive web design. Responsive design is a way of designing a website to reflow and adapt so that an optimized experience can be delivered to mobile or tablet or desktop.

In this session we will learn about responsive design, explore the latest approaches to cross-channel content delivery, and share tips for creating a responsive website. We’ll look at some case studies, discuss the challenges faced, and present early data on the impact of these changes.
