The new release of the COUNTER Code of Practice for e-Resources was published in March, with a deadline for implementation of 31 December 2013. It has been developed with input from vendors, librarians and publishers. For the first time, this COUNTER standard will provide a single, integrated code of practice covering journals, databases and books, as well as multimedia content.
