March 26, 2018 – Durham, NC – Global author services provider, American Journal Experts (AJE), has launched a new service to help authors select a journal for submission of their manuscript. The goal of this service is to improve the process of choosing a journal and reduce the time to publication for authors. This service is a smart addition to AJE’s suite of author services and supports AJE’s mission to make research communication faster, fairer, and more useful.
“Publication is paramount to a researcher’s career, and our goal is to help our customers with this hurdle by streamlining the journal selection process,” said Dr. Katie Ritz, who leads the Journal Recommendation team at AJE. “Finding a journal that both meets your publishing goals and is appropriate in scope for your manuscript can be extremely tedious as a researcher, especially given the massive number of journals currently available in all disciplines. By providing a tailored list of recommendations based on a given manuscript, we hope to ease this burden for our customers.”
Through the service, AJE academic experts will consider the authors’ publishing goals along with the content of the manuscript to create a report with 3-5 journals that are well-suited for their research. This service will be delivered by AJE’s team of PhDs and advanced degrees.
