Aries supports Wifi with Diamond Sponsorship at upcoming 40th SSP Annual Meeting

March 27, 2018 – Wheat Ridge, CO – Aries Systems will sponsor Wifi access at the SSP 40th Anniversary Celebration as part of its Diamond Sponsorship at the 2018 Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) Annual Meeting to be held at the Sheraton Grand in Chicago, May 30-June 1.

“With 40 years of successful SSP annual meetings, sponsorship is a great way to engage and stay in tune with the needs of the scholarly publishing community. Aries is pleased to support the community as members of SSP and to sponsor the 40th annual meeting,” said Richard Wynne, Aries Systems Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Just like wifi access helps attendees stay in touch during the Annual Meeting, the conference connects professionals in the various sectors concerned with scholarly publishing, including: publishers, technology providers, scholars, librarians, database producers and other stakeholders. This year’s educational sessions will highlight the many crossroads within scholarly publishing, including past and future practices, changing revenue models, funding challenges, regulation changes, technological innovations, and reaching new markets while maintaining established ones.

“Wifi access at the Annual Meeting is greatly valued by our attendees and SSP appreciates the support of this critical amenity by Aires,” said Melanie Dolechek, SSP Executive Director.

About the Society for Scholarly Publishing – SSP, founded in 1978, is a nonprofit organization formed to promote and advance communication among all sectors of the scholarly publication community through networking, information dissemination, and facilitation of new developments in the field. SSP members represent all aspects of scholarly publishing—including publishers, printers, e-products developers, technical service providers, librarians, and editors. SSP members come from a wide range of large and small commercial and nonprofit organizations. They meet at SSP’s annual meetings, educational seminars, and focus groups to hear the latest trends from respected colleagues and to discuss common and mutual (and sometimes divergent) goals and viewpoints.
