November 15, 2016 – Wheat Ridge, CO Cenveo Publisher Services, a division of Cenveo, Inc., will provide print and fulfillment services for the 2017 Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) Annual Meeting to be held at the Westin Boston Waterfront in Boston, MA, May 31-June 2. A long-standing partner of society and association publishers, Cenveo offers innovative print capabilities and an experienced, customer-focused account management team. The materials will be printed in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania facility, which has an extensive history of high-quality printing and unique production capabilities that support the scholarly publishing market.
Printed materials leading up to and during the SSP Annual Meeting are still in demand by meeting attendees and play a valuable role in the attendee experience. From the first save-the-date postcard landing in mailboxes to the handy onsite program guide, these materials provide valuable information to inform attendees about meeting topics, speakers, locations, and events. Last year, SSP introduced a pocket schedule that featured the schedule-at-a-glance, which was very popular. For 2017 Cenveo will produce and distribute a save-the-date postcard, the preliminary program, the onsite program and the recently introduced pocket schedule.

The meeting has grown steadily in recent years and attendance is expected to attract upwards of 900 attendees in 2017. The SSP Annual Meeting Call for Participation closed on November 11. Unlike in past years, submitters will had the option to choose from four proposal types: concurrent sessions, pre-meeting seminars, 5-minute preview sessions, and sponsored sessions.
