Gold Sponsor, Atypon, supports refreshment break at upcoming 39th SSP Annual Meeting

April 24, 2017 – Wheat Ridge, CO – Atypon will sponsor a refreshment break as part of their Gold Sponsorship at the 2017 Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) Annual Meeting to be held at the Westin Boston Waterfront in Boston, MA, May 31-June 2.

“Sponsoring SSP is part of Atypon’s commitment to ensuring the success of scholarly publishers through technology and innovations that benefit the entire industry,” said Georgios Papadopoulos, founder and CEO of Atypon. “It’s a privilege to support SSP’s role of advancing our publishing community.”

The SSP Annual Meeting has grown steadily in recent years and attendance is expected to attract up to 900 attendees in 2017.  In addition to the strong educational program, the SSP Annual Meeting offers several unique opportunities, such as refreshment breaks, that give attendees a chance network with colleagues and discuss topics being presented.

“Networking at the Annual Meeting is a key component valued by our attendees and SSP appreciates the support of this activity by Atypon,” said Melanie Dolecheck, SSP Executive Director.

About SSP – The Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP), founded in 1978, is a non-profit organization formed to promote and advance communication among all sectors of the scholarly publication community through networking, information dissemination, and facilitation of new developments in the field.
