Data Conversion Laboratory – “PubMed Central Primer and XML101”

Wednesday, August 12, 2020 | 12 pm EDT
Webinar

PubMed® comprises more than 30 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. To get journal articles indexed in PubMed, a journal must be selected as a MEDLINE journal or deposited to PubMed Central (PMC), which requires full text JATS XML – and publishers only have three chances to successfully submit valid XML or their PMC application is declined.

This can be a confusing and intimidating process for some publishers and often raises questions like:
– How does this process work?
– What is JATS XML and how do I get it?
– How do I make the most of the content I submit to PMC?

DCL specializes in the creation of XML and the submission of documents to PMC. This webinar provides a primer to demystify the process as well as illustrate why XML is a key building block not only for submission to PMC but also for an organization’s overall digital strategy.

Bring your questions and comments for this informative webinar from the DCL Learning Series.
