June 9, 2016 – Leiden (NL) / Boston (USA) / Singapore (SG) – Brill, the international scholarly publisher, is pleased to announce that the Journal of Greek Linguistics, which is indexed by Scopus and Web of Science, has become a full Open Access publication. To help the journal transition to a full gold Open Access journal, Brill will sponsor the journal by setting the Article Publication Charge (APC) at a lower rate for the first three years and by waiving the charges for authors unable to raise the funds for publication. APCs will be charged for all new submissions to the journal. In addition to the current volume, all back volumes will now be freely available.

About the editors:
Brian D. Joseph (Ph.D. 1978, Harvard University) is Distinguished University Professor of Linguistics and The Kenneth E. Naylor Professor of South Slavic Linguistics at The Ohio State University. He is former editor of Diachronica and of Language. He specializes in the linguistics of Greek (from the Mycenaean up through the Modern periods), Albanian, and the Balkans, as well as general historical linguistics.
Dag Haug (PhD 2001, University of Oslo) is Professor of Greek and Latin at the University of Oslo. He specializes in the linguistics of Ancient Greek and Latin, with an emphasis on syntax and semantics, as well as computational approaches to Greek and Latin syntax and semantics. He has published numerous articles in this fields and leads the development of the PROIEL treebank of ancient Indo-European languages.
Anna Roussou (PhD 1994, University College London), is Professor of Linguistics at the University of Patras. Her research is in theoretical linguistics, with particular emphasis on syntax (comparative, diachronic, including also aspects of acquisition and learning) and its interfaces with semantics and morphology
