May 13, 2021 – Learned Publishing is pleased to announce that Sophie Robinson has just joined as the new Early Career Editor for the journal, bringing fresh perspectives and new ideas to the editorial board.
Sophie is a Managing Editor at The Institution of Engineering and Technology where she oversees a portfolio of open access journals. Previously, she worked on various science and technology journal portfolios at Taylor and Francis and also has experience in books publishing at Routledge and as a Project Editor at Oxford University Press. Sophie’s academic background is in humanities, specifically within music and English literature. She specialized in urban literature in her postgraduate degree.
This appointment follows a recent refresh of the Learned Publishing editorial board to increase diversity and representation of all areas in scholarly publishing. All details can be viewed online.
