SSP is hosting a Virtual 5k Run, Walk, and Roll, presented by Crossref, to benefit the Generations Fund. This inclusive event encourages you to complete a 5k course where you are, however you can. Every registrant will receive an official race t-shirt. And, thanks to our amazing sponsors, your $35 registration fee will benefit the Generation Fund—our effort to permanently endow workforce development and DEAI programs that enhance the future of scholarly communications.
Our official race day is Saturday, May 21st. We will be encouraging participants to complete their 5k this day and share their results on social media. As you train over the next couple of weeks, we wanted to provide you with a suggested playlist to energize your efforts and invite you to add your favorite tracks!
