Platinum Sponsor, Silverchair Information Systems, supports the mobile meeting app at upcoming 39th SSP Annual Meeting

April 3, 2017 – Wheatridge, CO – Silverchair Information Systems will sponsor the mobile meeting app as part of their Platinum Sponsorship at the 2017 Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) Annual Meeting to be held at the Westin Boston Waterfront in Boston, MA, May 31-June 2.

“Silverchair is proud to continue our long-standing support for the SSP Annual Meeting. The Silverchair Platform brings together diverse content formats to enable scholarly and professional publishers to create fully- connected and comprehensive publication portals; which corresponds well to the SSP Annual Meeting’s mission to bring together diverse viewpoints to drive publishing industry connectivity and innovation,” said Wes Royer, Director, Product, Silverchair Information Systems.

The SSP Annual Meeting has grown steadily in recent years and attendance is expected to attract up to 900 attendees in 2017. Attendees will have the app available to receive notifications, network with colleagues, schedule their days at the meeting and learn more about SSP’s exhibitors and sponsors.

“Our attendees love the convenience of an app to help keep them connected and informed. It’s the prefect tool for navigating the Exhibitor Marketplace and planning out which sessions they will attend. SSP appreciates Silverchair Information Systems for making this convenience possible,” said Melanie Dolecheck, SSP Executive Director.

About SSP – The Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP), founded in 1978, is a non-profit organization formed to promote and advance communication among all sectors of the scholarly publication community through networking, information dissemination, and facilitation of new developments in the field.
