On July 5, SSP’s Community Engagement Committee organised its UK summer event at Work.Life Clerkenwell, a coworking space in London.
The event’s theme was ‘Humans, AI, and Decision Making.’ Two speakers were featured: Isabel Thompson, an SSP London committee member (and winner of the SSP Emerging Leader Award 2018), who spoke on AI strategy; and Bibblio co-founder and CEO Mads Holmen, who spoke about how content-recommendation systems can help humans make better decisions.

With nearly 30 attendees, a lively Q&A session after each talk, and plenty of drinks and pizza, the event was a great success. Many thanks go out to the London organizing team.
