CAE Approved Provider

SSP_CAEWebIconThe Society for Scholarly Publishing is a CAE Approved Provider. SSP programs designated with the CAE Approved icon meet the requirements for fulfilling the professional development requirements to earn or maintain the Certified Association Executive credential.  Every program that we offer which qualifies for CAE credit will clearly identify the number of CAE credits granted for full participation, and we will maintain records of your participation in accord with CAE policies.  For more information about the CAE credential or Approved Provider program, please visit www.whatiscae.org.

The CAE program, governed by the CAE Commission, an independent certifying body of ASAE, is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and designate association professionals who demonstrate the knowledge essential to manage an association in today’s challenging environment.

Many of SSP’s society and association publisher members have or are actively seeking the CAE credential. These individuals can count attendance at SSP programs and events toward their professional development requirement. Credit hours are issued in amounts equal to the length of a particular program; 1 hour of qualifying education = 1 CAE credit.

When selecting a CAE-eligible course from a CAE Approved Provider, CAEs and CAE candidates can be confident that the course will be recognized for CAE credit as advertised. The CAE program encourages candidates and CAEs to consider qualifying courses from CAE Approved Providers to meet the professional development requirements to earn or maintain the CAE credential.
