Concurrent 3E: Meet the User (Personas)…

Stakeholder Voices
Concurrent 3E: Meet the User (Personas): Our Peers Give Voice to the Researcher Experience

This panel of information professionals have fresh research results on the academic user experience (UX) ready to be brought to life. They – one librarian, one publisher, and one technology provider – will each present highlights of recent UX studies and how they applied the findings to further the mission of their organizations. After briefly introducing their chosen user persona e.g., undergraduate student, librarian, faculty member, post-doc, practitioner, etc. each speaker will then embody that user and field questions from the audience, both on matters relating to the user experiences of publisher and library products, and on matters relating to the personas preferences for and responses to UX research studies. This role-play format promises to be lively and educational!
