Seminar 01 – Re-inventing Content: New ways of Delivery, Discovery, and Presentation

Looking for ways to enliven or highlight your existing content? This seminar will explore how publishers are repackaging their content to create new products as well as to offer new ways of discovery and delivery.
Bridging various formats, the recombination of formerly siloed content allows for greater discovery as well as new compilations based on subject or author or other characteristics. The addition of multi-media options can also increase readers’ engagement with the existing materials. Some publishers are experimenting by making certain content enhancements available only through one delivery method, for example mobile, and not available through others to drive usage to new mobile sites to access this feature. Speakers will provide examples of how they have re-invented content, included new or alternative delivery methods, and found new ways of presenting existing content to highlight different aspects of their portfolios to different audiences.
