On December 1, 2016, Ann Mehan Crosse, SSP’s Deputy Executive Director will step down and Amy Lydic will assume the role of General Manager for SSP. Amy works out of Kellen’s Chicago office, however, the other SSP/Kellen staff, Jennifer Lanphere, Jan Kalne, and Linda Pocsik, will remain in the Denver office. SSP’s mailing address and telephone numbers will remain the same.
“Ann has been integral to SSP’s growth and success over the last several years and we cannot thank her enough for her dedication, passion, and enthusiasm for the mission of SSP and the work she has done on a daily basis,” said Melanie Dolechek, Executive Director. “Ann is planning to retire at the end of 2017, so beginning this transition now allows her to continue to serve as an important resource for Amy over the next year and ensures a smooth transition.”
Amy joined the Kellen staff in July 2013 and serves as the Administrative Director for two other associations, providing staff support which includes strategic planning, membership management, website content management, member communications, annual meeting program development, credentialing, volunteer management, and policy and procedures development.
Prior to coming to Kellen, Amy worked for 15 years at the American Oil Chemists’ Society. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology (Pre-Law) from Valparaiso University, a Certificate in Fundraising Management from DePaul University, and a Certificate in Association Management from ASAE University.
