Featuring three leaders from the scholarly communications community in the Research Triangle area, this panel discussion will explore how universities are approaching academic publishing and scholarly publishers. How can publishers and universities work together to support academic research? Are university libraries taking on any of the tasks traditionally performed by publishers? What new developments in scholarly publishing are libraries excited about? The panel will be hosted at Research Square’s modern office space in downtown Durham, and the event will kick off with a half hour of networking over wine and appetizers from local restaurant Parker & Otis.
