The next regional meeting of the SSP will address the hurdles to careers in scholarly publishing that people of color face and will focus on actionable advice for local organizations around hiring and retention. The panelists include human resource professionals and recruiters from higher education and the publishing industry. This panel will be particularly helpful for hiring managers but will also be of interest to any individuals interested in creating an equitable and inclusive work environment for underrepresented groups.
