GW Ethics in Publishing Conference (2020)

We are pleased to announce the registration is now open for the GW Ethics in Publishing Conference. Registration is free, so please share the link widely!

This virtual conference will be held over three consecutive afternoons: Weds, Oct. 28; Thurs., Oct 29; and Fri, Oct. 30, 2020, from 1-4:30 p.m. daily.

The theme of this year’s conference is Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility.

Topics include equity, inclusion, diversity, accessibility, sustainability, peer review, and other issues of ethics in publishing.

Presenters at this year’s conference include Elda Rotor, VP and Publisher of Penguin Classics; Barbara Kline Pope, Director of Johns Hopkins University Press; Peter Berkery, Executive Director of the Association of University Presses; Dr. Elizabeth Rule, Director of the AT&T Center for Indigenous Politics and Policy at The George Washington University; and many others. We are also thrilled that eight students and alumni of the GW Publishing program are presenting at this year’s conference.
