SSP MeetUp @ Charleston Library Conference

The Charleston Conference is an informal annual gathering of librarians, publishers, electronic resource managers, consultants, and vendors of library materials and SSP members are usually well represented! We’d hate to miss an opportunity to catch up with our SSP friends and colleagues when there are so many in one place.
If you’re looking for some familiar faces, stop by the Stars Rooftop & Grill Room during happy hour to informally network with your fellow SSP members and scholarly communications professionals! Feel free to bring a friend; everyone, member or not, is welcome!
This event is free, but please register so that we can get a headcount for the venue.

- We highly recommend that you attend only if you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Stay at home if you feel sick at all on the day of the event or have recently been exposed to someone that is sick
Waiver
By registering, I acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other infectious diseases exists in any public place where people are present. By attending the event, I and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 or other infectious diseases and agree not to hold the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP); or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.
I agree to abide by and engage in conduct that is beneficial to health and safety while attending the event. This includes all recommendations and safety procedures from my governing health body as well as the state or country, city, and venue where the event is being held, and may include but is not limited to wearing a mask in public places and engaging in appropriate social distancing.
I agree I will not attend the event if I have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19 within 14 days prior to the event; or if I believe that I may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19; or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by the health care team responsible for my treatment. I agree to contact SSP at mdolechek@sspnet.org if I experience symptoms of COVID-19 within 14 days after attending the event.
