Please join the SSP-Washington DC Regional Group for a lively discussion on Friday April 29th, 11am.
We all have experiences, insights, and ideas about scholarly publishing, formed by what we do and learn every day…we all have a story to tell. But when–and how–do we turn experiences and opinions into presentations? This discussion-focused session will be hosted by two professionals in scholarly publishing, Lisa Janicke Hinchliffe (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), and Alexa Colella (Research Square). They will share their experience and engage the attendees in a conversation about developing effective presentations in scholarly publishing. Professionals from all SSP regional groups are invited to generate actionable ideas on developing and sharing their voice in the scholarly publishing landscape.
