Views From the SSP Mentorship Program
The SSP Mentorship program connects professionals at all career levels and provides both mentors and mentees opportunities to develop new relationships, share experiences, and learn from others outside their organizations. SSP started the mentor program in 2017, recognizing the need to support professionals in their individual careers and to bring more active participation into the Society.
While the obvious benefits for mentees include networking, professional insights, and career advice, mentors also experience inspiration and professional growth. “Enlightening Perspectives: Views From the SSP Mentorship Program” is a new series from SSP that shares personal stories from both mentors and mentees at the frontlines of the mentorship and fellowship programs. The goal of these stories is to inform, inspire, and entertain.
