Cabells Sponsors Networking Reception at 2019 SSP Annual Meeting

April 16, 2019 – Mount Laurel, NJ – Cabells will sponsor a networking reception as part of its Platinum Sponsorship at the 2019 Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) Annual Meeting to be held at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina in San Diego, CA, May 29-31.

“Each year we look forward to the annual meeting with great excitement and we relish the opportunity to help support the SSP in its mission to connect the scholarly publishing community,” said Lacey Early, Vice President of Business Development at Cabells. “We cannot wait for the chance to learn, share, build new relationships and strengthen existing ones at this year’s meeting in San Diego and we are so proud to serve as a sponsor for the event.”

Networking is a critical component of any SSP event and a cornerstone of professional development. The top two reasons attendees report choosing to attend the SSP Annual Meeting are networking and education. At the end of a long day of learning, the evening receptions give attendees a chance to meet new people, catch up with old friends, make connections, learn about new products and services in the Exhibitors Marketplace, and unwind a bit. The networking at the SSP Annual Meeting is unmatched by any other industry event in the US.

“Attendees look forward to the evening receptions as much as the educational sessions. It’s the connections made with colleagues and friends at the receptions that make the Annual Meeting a must-attend event. We greatly appreciate Cabell’s support so that we can facilitate these important connections and cultivate lasting relationships,” said Melanie Dolechek, SSP Executive Director.
