Thursday is National Mentoring Day, but you can make your gift to honor a special mentor or mentors in your life today! We are asking you to help celebrate the importance of mentoring in the scholarly communications profession with a donation to benefit the Generations Fund and support SSP’s Mentoring and Fellowship programs far into the future.
What better way to honor your career mentor than a gift in their name that benefits future professionals through mentorship and other professional development programs? Not only will your donation be a tax-deductible gift that benefits the Generations Fund and SSP’s Mentorship Program, but your tribute will also be shared personally and publicly.
When you honor your mentor with a $25 donation or more between now and Friday, October 28, we will:
- Send a personal note to your mentor with your tribute message
- Honor your mentor on social media
- Share any tributes you post to social media using #SSPMentor
Each of us got to where we are today because someone invested their time and expertise in guiding us! You may even have more than one special person who helped shape your career. Consider acknowledging their support with a tribute gift to the Generations Fund in their name on National Mentoring Day.
