The Columbia Law Review Chooses Sheridan

October 31, 2013Hanover, PA – Sheridan has been awarded the print, distribution, and author reprint management services for The Columbia Law Review. This prestigious journal is the second most cited law journal in the country, and among the few that publishes eight issues per year.  An independent non-profit law review, it is managed and staffed by students at the Columbia Law School.

Other law titles published directly through Columbia Law School, and already printed at Sheridan: The Columbia Journal of Gender and Law, The Columbia Journal of European Law, Columbia Human Rights Law Review, Columbia Journal of Race and Law, Columbia Journal of Asian Law, and Jailhouse Lawyer’s Manual.

The Columbia Law Review will begin printing and mailing through Sheridan with the October 2013 issue.  Sheridan’s robust Author Reprint Management Service also holds value for the law review.  Sheridan will receive, manage and process the reprint orders directly through the authors, giving the law review staff more time to focus on content.  Sheridan’s long-standing expertise in reprint and eprint production and management programs made them the natural choice for this high quality service.

Editor-in-Chief Angela Sun had this to say about the move to Sheridan:  “The Review is delighted to be partnering with Sheridan. Not only does Sheridan provide high-quality printing services for very reasonable prices, but our contacts at Sheridan have been almost instantaneously responsive to all of our printing needs. I am very happy with the service and the quality that Sheridan has provided to the Review thus far, and I hope that this partnership will continue well into the future.”

About The Columbia Law Review – The Columbia Law Review is one of the world’s leading publications of legal scholarship. Founded in 1901, the Review is an independent nonprofit corporation that produces a law journal edited and published entirely by students at Columbia Law School. It is one of a handful of student-edited law journals in the nation that publish eight issues a year. The Review is one of the most widely distributed and cited law reviews in the country. It receives over 2,000 submissions annually and selects approximately 20–25 manuscripts for publication annually, in addition to student Notes. In 2007, the Review expanded its audience with the launch of Sidebar, an online supplement to the Review. By bringing together a diverse group of legal scholars, practitioners, community leaders, and judges, Sidebar provides an important, emerging forum for the discussion of pressing legal issues.  http://www.columbialawreview.org/
