The theme of the 32nd SSP Annual Meeting is, A Golden Opportunity: A Shared Vision for Publishers, Librarians and Users Once again the Education Committee will offer pre-meeting seminars on Wednesday, June 2, 2010.This year’s keynote speaker is Brewster Kahle, computer engineer, internet entrepreneur, activist and digital librarian. The Friday luncheon will feature a plenary address by John Sack, associate publisher and director of HighWire Press, Stanford University Librarian and Academic Information Resources.New this year, SSP is offering optional half-day tours to Muir Woods/Sausalito and Alcatraz, as well as a full-day Napa Valley Wineries tour on Saturday, June 5, 2010. You may wish to extend your stay in the bay area to enjoy some of the local attractions.
