Introducing SSP Originals!

During our 46th Annual Meeting in Boston, we are introducing the SSP Originals silent auction, which will feature creative works made by SSP members and supporters. The silent auction will benefit the Generations Fund, and help provide long-term funding for our Fellowship, Mentoring, and DEIA programs.

We are asking SSP members, supporters, and Annual Meeting attendees to consider donating an original creation that is easily packable in a suitcase—for example, custom jewelry, homemade soaps or candles, original poetry, small works of art, pottery, crocheted bags, knitted scarves, leatherwork, appropriately sized wood carvings and more! These items will be auctioned off during the meeting to benefit the Generations Fund.

Contributors are invited to register an original creative work for donation by April 30. We are looking for original works within these guidelines:

  • The item is small enough to fit in a suitcase so the winning bidder can carry it home.
  • Suggested items include custom jewelry, homemade soaps or candles, original poetry, small works of art, pottery, crocheted bags, knitted scarves, leatherwork, appropriately sized wood carvings, and more! Non-perishable items only.
  • You can bring the item to the meeting or ship it if you won’t be attending.
  • The item is not a business service or tool.

SSP staff will review your item and confirm approval by May 1st. A limited number of donations will be accepted.
